Refreshed a bank-wide on-prem Hadoop platform by migrating HDFS data onto S3-compatible storage with minimal impact on production. Then built a low-touch, serverless, file-based replication tool-as-a-service across 70+ storage engines — 10–50% faster than AWS S3 sync, with near real-time replication and point-in-time restore against versioned buckets.
